It's about time.

I realized that I haven't posted anything since my film.  I've been taking a break from drawing, but it has been weeks and I figured it was about time to get back to work.  Here's a quick study I did from Pulp Fiction.  It's nothing fantastic, but I need to start somewhere if I want to be posting regularly again.

Seafoamy Part 2

After having "Part of your World" stuck in my head for a good number of hours, I decided to draw a mermaid.  It's nothing serious, but here's the doodle.  It's like my mermaid sculpture from last semester.

Animation Midterm

Today in my traditional animation class we had a midterm where we were given a model sheet and two words.  We were supposed to create a 30-40 frame animation that is on model and describes the two words we picked at random.  My words were "magical" and "faint".  After I turned in my midterm, I thought of a more entertaining "magical" aspect I could use in this.   Enjoy.

I was bored and I didn't feel like working on my film, so I decided to play with the brushes in photoshop and play with colors.  I look strange here, but I had fun.  Oh yeah, and I cut my hair the other night (:

Watercolor Animation - Life Drawing

Last week in Life drawing we had a video reference of the model waving a cloak around projected in the front of the room.  We then went through every few frames and drew with our own interpretations.  I thought it was pretty interesting (:

Zoo trip - 12 Feb 2011
